Risk Disclosure

International commodity transactions carry risk. This disclosure summarises the principal categories. It is not exhaustive and is not investment advice.

Price and market risk

Metal and mineral prices move continuously. Values can fall as well as rise, and pricing bases referenced in an offer may change before execution.

Counterparty and settlement risk

Transactions depend on the performance of counterparties, banks and inspection providers. Settlement mechanisms allocate risk differently and should be assessed before contracting.

Documentary, regulatory and country risk

Export authorisations, customs procedures, sanctions regimes and local regulation may change, be delayed or be applied differently than expected, affecting timing or feasibility.

Logistics, quality and quantity risk

Transport, handling, moisture, sampling variance and assay differences may affect final settled weights and grades. Inspection and umpire procedures should be agreed in advance.

No guarantees

We make no guarantee of supply, timing, price, return or outcome. Buyers should take independent legal, tax and commercial advice before entering any transaction.

Commodity availability, pricing, origin, specifications and transaction terms are subject to verification, due diligence, applicable laws, export controls and executed contracts. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer, investment advice or a guarantee of supply.
